Romania Green Building Council meets State Councelor of the Prime Minister

Today, 11 November 2016 at the Romanian Government office, the Executive Director of Romania Green Building Council, Mrs. Monica Ardeleanu met the State Counsellor to the Prime Minister, Mr. Victor Giosan.

They have discussed about the Build Upon project and Romania’s renovation strategy. For the last months Romania Green Building Council have organized in 7 cities from 6 regions, 10 workshops of public consultation with all the categories of stakeholders.

‘’In order to update and implement the strategy, Romania’s Government involvement is mandatory. Therefore, our discussion today with the State Counselor focused on the 10 recommendations resulted from the consultation process and the challenges we are facing in implementing them.

Romania’s Prime Minister, Mr. Dacian Cioloș has also received our Declaration in 10 points and we are now working with the State Counsellor to further develop this collaboration in the upcoming weeks.’’  – Monica Ardeleanu, Executive Director, Romania Green Building Council.
