These five areas follow the categories set out in Renowiki – powerful tool for knowledge sharing developed by within the BUILD UPON project scope. Awareness raising is a horizontal area and therefore that is the main focus of this conference. The goal is to address, inform and involve a respectable number of stakeholders and provide innovative, relevant content in a collaborative manner. The participants will not only be able to align their views in terms of implementation of Latvian Renovation Strategy but also get insight in best practices among international partners in order to raise awareness among all stakeholder categories.

Main Barriers to Be Addressed

Awareness of the value of deep renovation is fundamental for the market. Even though there is a lot going on in order to raise the awareness, many of the times the knowledge is not shared on a large scale. BUILD UPON has already taken care of this issue – Renowiki is a tool that allows initiatives to be shared and furthermore – replicated where relevant. Awareness is a cross cutting element on all action taken under the implementation of Latvian National Renovation Strategy.
